Trip Adik Beradik : Yay or Nay?

Saya baru sahaja selesai dari percutian selama 2 minggu ke Greece dari 9-16 April 2016 dan seterusnya ke Turkey bersama trip adik beradik (TAB) dari 17-25 April 2016. Sepanjang trip ke Turkey, saya telah terbaca review yang buruk-buruk mengenai TAB untuk trip Japan dan New Zealand. Review-review seperti ini sedikit sebanyak mempengaruhi keputusan saya mengikuti TAB untuk trip-trip akan datang. Anyway, this is my review (and comparison) for TAB, using layman terms sebab saya tak tahu bahasa bisnes and these are my personal opinions, tak mewakili siapa-siapa dalam group trip ini unless I mention it.

1. Payment

We paid deposit of RM500 per person 4 months earlier I guess and the remaining RM2300 about 2 months before the trip started. Setiap kali payment I will notify Nisa or Saiful and send the picture of the transaction receipts via WhatsApp. Kami akan 'okay thank you' dan lepas tu senyap for few months unless ada nak tanya apa-apa pada mereka. I'm sorry but saya tak berapa faham dengan kedua-dua review yang sangat marah tak dapat invoice dari TAB. Maksud saya, you have the transaction receipt with you. Kalau mereka nak tipu, anda ada bukti transaction duit. Correct me if I'm wrong but if they can accept bila saya just WhatsApp 'nisa,saya da bank in' without asking or querying much or asking for the transaction receipt, kenapa saya kena query kenapa tak dapat invoice sedangkan receipt tu ada pada saya.

2. Accommodation 

Overall I'm so freaking happy with the hotels yang kami dapat sepanjang di turkey. I think they booked 3-4.5 star hotels for us (except the first day we arrived here). Saya dapat bilik yang sangat-sangat selesa terutamanya di Cappadocia (Flinstone Cave Hotel) siap dengan jakuzi. And yes, untuk malam pertama kami sampai awal sehari di sini, TAB ada bagi option pada kami untuk tinggal di hotel yang akan dibook oleh mereka atau tidak. They charged us RM200/pax (not per room) and I did checked the actual price per room is jauh lebih murah which is dalam RM 120-160 per room. But we accepted the offer anyway sebab that's the price you have to pay when you don't wanna do it on your own. Plus the airport shuttle are provided. Untuk harga kemalasan kami, okay la tu.

3. Makan

Untuk bayaran trip RM2800 dengan makan 3 kali sehari, I think it is cheap. Bab makan paling terjaga walaupun tekak tak berapa masuk dengan local food sini. But I'm so sorry to know pasal masalah kat Japan and NZ, makanan basi la apa la. I read somewhere ada yang komplen tak diberitahu makan tak included (?) And they have to pay RM45/pax for 6 days punya lunch. What?? Murah la tu. I joined a motor home trip in Oct 2015 (was not so cheap) and kami kongsi duit beli barang basah (seorang dalam €8 for every 3 days) dan kami masak sama-sama not just untuk diri kami, but for the crew as well. So kira kalau ada orang tolong masak tu dah beruntung la tu.

4. Solat

Well, i tried not to mention about this topic because tak pandai bab agama. But to me, as an adult, we are responsible untuk jaga solat masing-masing. Tak diingatkan waktu solat? Oh tolonglah, sekarang dah banyak apps utlntuk waktu solat siap arah kiblat. And janganlah bagi alasan tak berhenti setiap kali waktu solat sebab dalam Islam pun dah mudahkan untuk musafir lebih dari 2 marhalah untuk dijamakkan solat. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

5. Guide

Selain our tour guide, kami ada local guide yang uruskan perjalanan kami dan terangkan setiap tempat yang kami lawati. And for our guide from TAB, she's so young tapi bagus. There are rooms for improvement and I believe she will definitely do better for her next trips. When i was at her age, I don't even know how to book flight. Kehkeh.

6. Time management
Bravo! Semua peserta and guide menepati masa. But my friend who joined japan trip memang ada mengadu pasal kelewatan tour leader dia. Sepatutnya gerak pukul 8am tapi jadi 10am. Macam tu. Tu memang tak patutla.

7. Transportation
Untuk group seramai lebih kurang 24 orang, I believe TAB should provide bigger bus sebab along the way nanti mesti ada beg yang beranak pinak. Perjalanan jauh-jauh, kesian mereka yang terpaksa cramped dalam bas dengan luggage-luggage. Dan paling penting, do not compromise pasal safety. Our driver ada few times tertidur and ni sangat tak boleh diterima. TAB should look into this matter seriously.

Rasanya, ni je setakat ini. Saya berpegang pada 'hope for the best, expect for the worse'. After all, I think TAB is a backpacker budget style. Setakat ni apa yang kami dapat sangat berbaloi, alhamdulillah tapi mungkin juga nasib kami baik berbanding yang terkena di japan dan Auckland. Apapun, for Turkey trip 17-25 April, thank you TAB and Aisha for the good job. Harap harap review orang lain mampu buat saya join next trip with TAB. Adios!
