Travel Safety Tips by Coco

Nak share sikit safety guide masa travel. Ni based on our experience yang dah nak 2 kali almost jadi mangsa pickpocket masa kat Italy (once in Venice and once in the colosseum roma).

1. Before you travel anywhere, just google the safety tips so that you will know what to expect.

2. If you go to Milan especially dekat2 Milan cathedral,  be careful dengan awang2 (seperti dalam gambar) who will roam around with bracelets/friendship looms with them. If possible just avoid making eye contact with them because if you do, they will approach you and offer the bracelets to you, then nanti geng2 dia akan datang kerumun korang forcing you to pay walaupun korang tak nak benda ni. So just avoid these people.

3. Put your money in different places, especially if you have jacket yang ada poket2 kecik bahagian dalam tu.

4. Avoid putting anything valuable in the pockets of your pants or jacket.  Senang kena copet and susah nak perasan.

5. If possible, wear bags with multiple zippers. Put your valuable items in different compartments of the bag.

6. Just be extra cautious especially dekat crowded areas. Learn not to ignore your instinct. It's better to be safe than sorry kan. Beware of people who stand too close to you and refuse to move even if you need space for example while taking pictures. Nad almost kena when she wanna snap my pic in Venice and I almost kena when I was trying to snap picture in the colosseum. And when you realise that someone is trying to pickpocket you,  don't hesitate to show that you are aware what's happening. Check your belongings immediately and warn your friends.

7. Never leave your things unattended even for a second.
